She obtained her GED at 23 after dropping out in Jr high, proving to herself and the world the importance of education & personal growth. This bold act of self-preservation ignited a fire within her to pursue her dreams and discover her true passion. Lupus; Demetria was tested for the disease herself on three separate occasions. Inspired by her own journey, Demetria made the brave decision to share her story. October 2023 Demetria lost her Mother to cancer and her child's father to murder in prison. Growing up with a drug dealer father and he passed away unexpectedly Demetria was left with where she has to figure life out all with her Son. Demetria divorced her ex- husband in 2019 because he was an alcoholic & research/lessons she had to learn behind it.
