The Motivated Mindset is about storytelling and business. Growing up, a dreamt about becoming the best basketball player alive wearing the Swoosh along the way. I would like to share my story to continue inspiring and motivating others to unlock their potential. Motivation is different for everyone, but for me it’s a way to become better everyday. Always aspire to be a better version of yourself and keep pushing towards your dream.     Staying True to Yourself

    Authenticity is one of the most powerful qualities that a human being can live by, specially in times of uncertainty. The power of being authentic creates energy that can be transmitted to those that feel lost, confused, and/or stuck in life. In this episode, I share my beliefs and opinions of what "staying true to yourself" means through my experiences. Everyone should be able to express their authentic self through their own journey. Remember, we all have our own path and can help others grow by being your true self.

    This opening episode, I interviewed Josh also known as Smart Money who started a Twitter online business during COVID-19. He has not only scale his business to almost 50k followers, but has helped many others to earn a living online. He is a father, entrepreneur, and mentor who shares knowledge through his tweets about life, money, and success. Affiliate marketing started his journey almost 2 years ago and now his teaching others to do so. He believes that there are no limits for a resilient mind and shares how we shouldn’t live a life without regret.     Finding Your Why: Interview with Mom

    To celebrate Heritage Month I decided to interview my mom on finding her why through her life. She explains her view on motivation, determination, and hard work as a Latina woman. Her perseverance and drive to become the best version of herself as a person and mom made her realize that anything is possible with your family.  Being her daughter, I learn many qualities that after interviewing her I realize where they come from. I realize that no matter what you go through in life, all you need is your family because they will always be there for you no matter what. Being a Latina has taught me that working hard doesn’t necessarily mean doing physical work, but mentally work as well.

    Leaving A Legacy: Sabdi Ximenez (In Loving Memory of Isaac Uribe)

    Do you guys know what leaving a legacy means? Since I am the oldest, I always thought I was going to leave a legacy first. It has been about a week ago since my brother Isaac passed away, but he left me the biggest lesson in life: "To live in the present and cherish every moment." Only God knows why my brother was taken away from us at a young age, but I am happy I had the chance to live through the ups and downs of life with him.  In this week's episode, I invited my cousin Sabdi Ximenez to tell us his story and share endless memories we had with my brother. My cousin has been like my oldest brother even though we are only 5 months apart. This one is for you little brother and I know you are looking down on us. I will continue the Legacy that I promise you and always help those in need.

    Love for the Game: Drexler Velez @drexfor3

    Kobe's definition of focus was to have the ability to concentrate, stay disciplined, and build skills. Kobe's focus was unmatched; he knew what he wanted and had a plan to to get there. Today being Kobe Day, focus on not only meeting your own expectations but never forget where you come from. Cherish those moments with your loved ones because tomorrow is never guaranteed. Be the player, the father, the mentor, the coach, the shaker and show the world what you are capable of.  In today's episode, a similar mentality was instilled in Drexler Velez; a Nike athlete, SDSU college student, a basketball player at age 4, a son, and a boyfriend creating his own mamba mentality. Kobe Bryant was someone we looked up to growing up and inspired us to be better everyday. Drexler' love for the game is what keeps him going and spending time with his family as a center focus to always strive for more.  Just like Kobe said, "It's a constant quest to try to be better today than you were yesterday." Hope you guys can relate and celebrate Kobe's Legacy through our stories to have a motivated mindset.

In this weeks episode, I invited my dear friend Greg Jauregui, an amateur astronomer and astrophotographer who graduated from UCSD with a degree in Earth Sciences that shares his story as a form of motivation to pursue the his ultimate dream, which is to visit space and become part of the NASA team.
