    What Dynamic Self-Care Looks Like

    Given that it's Valentine’s Day on Sunday, a holiday that celebrates love and relationships, I want to ask you to spend some time on your RELATIONSHIP with YOURSELF this week. Your relationship with yourself is arguably one of the most important. If you want to show up fully in your relationships with your partner and your kids, it’s important that you put your oxygen mask on first as the saying goes, and connect with yourself, and love yourself, and value yourself. I think oftentimes we live our life waiting to get love and respect from someone else, all the while neglecting to give it to ourselves, and so if this is you, if you know that you are lacking in self-love, and self-confidence, and self-care, and self-respect, all the things relating to self-esteem and honoring yourself, then this week, it’s time to make YOU a priority.

    This is going to be a longer episode, and I ask you to give yourself the time this week to listen to the whole thing, even if you need to listen to it in bits and pieces, but I have a really great conversation for you today, between me and a beautiful mama named Christa Bevan, a self-proclaimed Radical Mother.

    In our chat, Christa tells her story of how she healed her body through dynamic self-care, a type of self-care we integrate into our lives, as opposed to having just another thing on our to-do lists.

    Christa Bevan is a dynamic self-care coach for other Radical Mothers as well as a certified TRE® (tension and trauma releasing exercises) provider and yoga instructor. Her coaching practice helps to empower mothers on a journey of healing trauma and doing deeply transformational personal development work. Coming to this work out of necessity, she’s seen the incredible impact healing trauma can have in all directions of your family tree. As a natural teacher, Christa works to educate, support, and inspire people who are ready for radical change in their lives with methods that deliver results. She believes that self-love, compassion, and grace are the core elements of healing, and all start with a foundation of self-awareness.

    I brought Christa on the show today to motivate and inspire you to give yourself a lot more grace, a lot more love, a lot more presence. I know you’ll love her. Thanks for being here today.
