    This episode has been a long time coming. Recorded back in September, I had the absolute delight in chatting to Ollie Hawkley, the man bringing a New Zealand film collection 'The Big Bike Film Night' to Scottish audiences. Since recording this episode The Big Bike Film Night has travelled all over Scotland and has sold out multiple venues. I really hope it returns in 2022 with yet more thought provoking, beautifully shot and diverse biking films. This episode contains a lot of chat about pies, there's some questionable Gaelic pronunciation and I'm introduced to the idea of number 8 wire thinking... oh and we do actually chat about biking too! Anyway, I hope you enjoy this episode as much as I enjoyed chatting to Ollie and maybe you'll feel compelled to go for a bike ride afterwards too!     "The grass really is greener" says Nav Bakhsh, co-founder of the walking group Boots and Beards, and he should know! After 40 years of never really spending much time outside, family events made him re-evaluate his lifestyle and he hasn't looked back since. Talking to Nav was incredibly life affirming and his enthusiasm to get everyone outside, not just his community, is a delight to hear. We discuss the history of Boots and Beards, the amazing natural world and how he believes that the outdoors could be a great way of tackling racism.
