“If you set your mind to something, no matter what you have or don't have, you can actually do it. You just have to do it and proceed, just keep working at it and incremental steps sometimes need to happen. On this episode, we welcome Scott Kennedy, Scott is the owner of Light Path LED. He is on the show to discuss the benefits of red-light therapy and how it can help increase blood flow, oxygen, recovery time, and healing. He explores the differences between red and near infrared light, as well as the benefits of using specific pulses for different purposes such as 40 hertz for inflammation and brain health, 2.94 hertz for eyes, 5.87 hertz for lymphatic flow, and 4.69 for pain relief. He delves into the effects of light penetrating through the sinuses and eyes up into the nasal cavities, and how one should take off their clothing to ensure maximum effectiveness. He is a certified laser/light specialist and health coach. In 2018, he started the first light therapy wellness center in New Jersey where he met with clients from all walks of life, all ages, and with the gambit of issues. He started my journey 10 years ago when he suffered from peripheral neuropathy. He saw countless doctors and tried countless remedies with only limited relief. He went from running ultra-marathons and boxing to being sedentary. Within 4 months, his symptoms decreased over 80%. The improvements he felt from light therapy were life-altering. He’s now back to running and boxing and living life. His goal is to now help others get back to doing what they enjoy in life, without pain or pills. With a focus on safety and quality, he began LightpathLED to create the best home use panels on the market. He now has panels that surpass the competition at a lower price point as well as panels with multiple wavelengths and pulsing, which no other company is doing. Guest Quotes:

“The goal is to peel away all those things and I think even for our PRIME patients, people that we see, that still becomes the hardest part is just taking things away.” - Torin Berge, PT, MPT, PRC

“We have this profession and their job is to get people to see clearly, which again, in our world, if you can't see clearly, it doesn't help you. So, if you can't see clearly and you're straining to see, you're creating more tension than we want regardless. So, clarity is an important, it's an important thing. We have to be able to see clear, because we live in the world.” - Torin Berge, PT, MPT, PRC
