    The Nature's Citizen; Alex Carpenter | EP16

Meet Alex, originally from the UK, he moved to Goa around 2015.  He is a conservationist with a passion for tropical jungles. He’s lived in places like Costa Rica and Sri Lanka before coming to Goa. A nature lover who’s been living in the goan jungles for over 9 years now. He started The Tribe Goa, an eco-village, and lived in the Mhadei Wildlife Sanctuary, tried fixing a huge 150-hectare forest through planting trees, and studying ecology, he saves snakes, and helps animals like frogs and squirrels find homes again. Alex even has a YouTube channel, Jungle Citizens, where he shows off Goa’s wild side and uploads about his ambitious projects.  In this episode, he shares his plans for Goa Botanical Sanctuary and how you can be a part of it too.  Listen to everything he discovered spending so much time with nature and why he believes that if we don’t course correct, we might just be forced to by nature. Tanhau Tales w/ Sunando Sen | EP 14

I had the pleasure of interviewing Sunando Sen, a former corporate professional turned consultant, investment banker, and entrepreneur. Along with everything else he is also a wildlife conservationist who now runs a sustainable home stay atop a small hill in Jim Corbett. I recorded this piece at his place itself and you'll hear the nature in all it’s glory as the background track :) Today, we’ll explore: What brought Sunando to Corbett. How his life has transformed. What lessons others can learn from his journey.Additionally, we'll dive into the unique aspects of his homestay, including its majestic views and the philosophy behind not only the homestay but everything else he does.At the cost of sounding cliche,  if you’re looking for an off the beaten track experience, Tanhau has to be on your list! However, be prepared for a thorough interview process that ensures a perfect guest experience. Haha..
