It's Time To Talk About Estate Planning... And Not Giving Mom A Heart Attack!
This is it. The big one. No matter what you think, whether you want to admit it or not, this isn't something you can put off any longer. Estate planning, it's going to involve everyone in your family, and you won't be able to pick out the perfect color of urns for the perfect price like you have been planning on forever and ever. Oh no. This one is going to make or break families... Actually, scratch that, nothing will break a family worse than estate planning but there will be unpleasantness. (See? I knew I was right when I said this one wouldn't be pretty).
Attorney Stephanie Graham is the perfect person to talk to. We discuss her journey into entrepreneurship and why every business needs a succession plan!
------------------------------------------------------------
Stephanie has been licensed to practice in New York and New Jersey for over 25 years and Georgia since 2004 before relocating to Atlanta in 2005. After more than 20 years litigating in both the private and public sector and subsequently losing her maternal grandmother while working with an employer who suggested she did not have enough PTO to attend her grandmother’s funeral, Graham Estate Planning was born. Graham Estate Planning is located btn Buckhead and Sandy Springs on Roswell Road about ¼ mile from I285, near the corner of Glenridge. Stephanie is a board member with the North Fulton Bar Association and the Atlanta Bar Assn LRIS Board of Trustees as well as a member of Leadership Sandy Springs, Class of 2016. Stephanie has been recognized in the Top 100 Nat'l Black Lawyers three years in a row and her Firm as Best of Georgia Probate Firms & Top 10 Best of Sandy Springs Probate Firms. In 2021, Stephanie was appointed County Administrator for Fulton County Probate Court by Judge Kenya Johnson to manage un-represented probate estates. Stephanie lives in Sandy Springs, GA with her precocious teen and 5 year old American Eskimo. In her spare time, Stephanie loves to play racquetball, read and mentor when she can which is rare.

Finding Your Joy and Power with Meghan Calhoun
Meghan shares stories that relate to being a stressed-out working mom and then having to shift to finding her joy and purpose. Tips on how to recenter that negative self-talk and focus on your dreams.
In 2019, Meghan Calhoun was on the brink of working mom burnout. A demanding cemetery sales quota, two toddlers, a drive for perfection, and an inability to ask for help were making her feel like she was one bad day away from a mental breakdown. It was this stress that forced Meghan to find a fast and effective way to cope (because ain't nobody got time for that). That's when she created the Power Up, a 10-minute daily practice of breathing, gratitude, and celebration, to cope with all the drama...from tearful daycare drop-offs to counseling families going through incredible grief and despair.
The cemetery job gave Meghan an ever-present reminder that life is short and it fueled Meghan’s career change in 2022 to a Mindset Mentor and Joyologist. Nowadays, Meghan's mission is to help other working moms thrive in the mommy hamster wheel. She teaches women how to calm their nervous system, create awareness and intention, practice boundaries and cultivate a Shero mindset. Her contagious energy and love of wigs and whoopee cushions inspire moms to notice the little magics in life, to be present for moments with their children, and remember to over all, enjoy yourself.

Juggling love, life, and family with Tamika Michelle Johnson
Juggling love, life, and family! It's a lot - period. Women manage so much daily. How do you manage it all?
Tamika shares her journey and how she now manages it all. From being a single mother to marriage and having children later in life.
Attorney, business owner, wife, and mother. Listen to her story and be encouraged.
---------------------------------
Tamika Michelle Johnson is an Attorney, Magazine Publisher, CEO of a matchmaking agency, Host of 2 Weekly shows, Wife, Mother, Daughter, and friend, and like so many other high-achieving professionals, she juggles a lot.
In doing all that she does both professionally and personally, Tamika is aware of the fact that individuals who perform at a high level indefinitely and for years at a time, can become burned out or have breakdowns. Additionally, as an attorney who has represented mental health patients for 10 years, she knows that many professionals are closer to breakdowns than they
know or want to admit.
Personally, Tamika became a single mother at 25 years old, and after she started practicing law, she found herself involved in an unhealthy relationship. The stress of that relationship almost destroyed her. So, after finally ending her unhealthy 10-year relationship at 40 years old, transforming her approach to relationships, Tamika married her current husband soon thereafter. While her marriage is great, within the last 4 years, Tamika also had 5 pregnancies, 3 miscarriages, and 2 children, all in her 40’s. A pandemic, the loss of both her father and her husband’s father within 3 months of one another, becoming caretakers of her mother-in-law all while raising 2 young children is nothing short of challenging.
On the other hand though, Tamika missed having a career, so she decided to ease back into working as an attorney again as well as embarking upon several other ventures in which she is very passionate. But initially, it was not easy balancing all of that.
Tamika knew that the continual stress and overwhelm not only results in anxiety, insecurity, and depression, but it also manifests itself physically by causing hair loss, high blood pressure, increased sugar levels, ulcers, heart attacks, strokes, and more. So, she had to make some changes and become INTENTIONAL about achieving a healthy work-life balance.
On a weekly basis, Tamika shares with professionals that we will always have responsibilities, but it is vital that we balance those responsibilities with other activities, excitement, hobbies, time with family and friends, and most importantly peace.
To continue to perform at an optimal level in whatever it is that we do, we have to master a work-life balance. After implementing her own strategies to attain this balance, Tamika now assists other power professionals to achieve their own healthy work-life balance.
Finding and maintaining this balance is easier said than done, but it is doable and simpler than many of us we make it out to be.
As a Work-Life Strategist, Tamika shares with clients and audiences how to intentionally achieve a professional and personal balance that addresses work, career, business, self-care, health, rest, and relationships, as well as strategically utilizing certain benefits which will allows professionals to reset before a tragedy occurs either mentally, physically, or emotionally.
So, if you’re ready to master yours and your audiences work-life balance, then be sure to schedule a call to book Tamika for your next amazing event, conference, or workshop!

Can Success Come From Going With The Flow - Alga Ghebretensae
In this episode Alga shares what her journey to entrepreneurship was like in Atlanta and some challenges to keep going forward.
Originally from Eritrea. By the age of 10 Alga Ghebretensae had been to 3 different continents so she grew up everywhere but California is my first home in the US.
She spent her formidable years there; graduated high school, and attended and graduated from the University of California (at Davis). She moved to Atlanta in 2000 with $1K in her pocket. It was Atlanta or Bust! Within a week of the move, she got a corporate job, within a year she bought a house, and within 4 years, she was a landlord. Even though she had a good job; she knew early on that working 9-5 was not the right fit for her. And after almost 5 years in corporate, she got my Real Estate license and became a Real Estate Agent. She had a great mentor and real estate has opened doors for her and it had given her what she truly values in life: FREEDOM.
