Who is the man with no haircut? We haven’t a name for this one. This one slides through the universe with no haircut at all; slipping, squeezing through tight, funky spaces; inside the pocket, outside the harmony, implying chord changes where only diatonicism existed before. For the purposes of podcast, we shall call this one: Michael Kinchen. Michael joins your super podcast team Jahn and Jo’Nathan to talk about jazz, improvisation, and vocoders.

If you’ve ever wondered how to be casually laid back, definitively cool, and also an extraordinary badass, listen to this man speak. Our very own badass drummer Jonathan Greene interviews Blake on topics such as practicing, touring and balancing relationships, and then brings the whole thing back to the studio so John can give a bassist’s perspective and make inane comments for your listening pleasure.

Very offensive in a really beautiful way

I’ve been in the Mr. Haircut fan club for several years now, and when I joined they said I would get an official Podcast sweater for being a member. When it came in the male, there were crumbs all over it, I think Fritos, and it looked really used like just some old sweater the they didn’t want. But I have to say, I tried it on and when I pulled the tab to seal it, the airtight temperature seal layer on the inside fit perfectly over my sculpted abs. It didn’t even leak when I depressurized the first time! I haven’t taken it off sense, and when I lysten to the Mr. Haircut show at 4:15 every day I think about how greatfull I am to Jahn and Jo’Nathan for the killin sweat r.
