Dustin Cote (Product Manager for Observability, Confluent Cloud) talks about Apache Kafka® made serverless and how beyond just the brokers, Confluent Cloud focuses on fitting into customer systems rather than building monitoring silos. 

When it comes to monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting, Dustin defines what they all mean and how they operate in a database before diving into the requirements needed in order for a properly observable cloud service to exist and on-prem service.
