Conversation with Kimberly Byrum at Meyers Research
Kimberly heads up our multifamily housing advisory services group. Their client base is primarily multifamily developers and owners. I wanted to hear what she was hearing from clients during the crisis and any trends that might be developing. Obviously we are going to need to brace for a spike in unemployment and delays in rent payments but we are also going to need to be prepared for a new dynamic in leasing season once shelter in place and quarantines are lifted.
Kimberly has worked extensively with all commercial real estate functions throughout the United States and Canada, including site selection and development, due diligence, acquisitions, property management and asset management. Kimberly is recognized as an expert in the fields of multifamily consumer research, rent positioning, and product design.
