    3：小松浩子　後編　作品と言葉、建築資材と身体の関係などについて

    2：小松浩子　前編　工業地帯の写真から始まる

    2021年２月4日より21日まで、恵比寿映像祭に併せて開催された小松浩子と立川清志郎楼二人展「網膜反転侵犯」は、映像インスタレーションによる展覧会であった。会期中には、サックス奏者で評論家の大谷能生によるライブパフォーマンスが、コロナ禍のため無観客で行われ、配信された。 展覧会開催の折に行われた小松浩子へのインタビュー（収録2021年4月2日）。小松は2006年に写真を撮りはじめてから、日本各地の工業地帯の風景—工場、建材置場、工事現場等—を主題に撮影をしてきた。展覧会では、大量の写真プリントを壁と床に敷き詰める。ロールの印画紙で焼いた写真をワイヤーでつるし、そのまま床に転がす。また併せてモニターやプロジェクターを設置。焼かれたプリントに加えて映像を上映したり、投影することもある。このように、空間全体を夥しい数のプリントと映像で埋め尽くすようなインスタレーションを展開してきた。観覧者は、床に貼られたプリントの上を歩いてその空間を体験することになる。作家詳細はこちら。 本インタビューでは、無名の工業地帯の写真を撮ることになったきっかけと、それをインスタレーションという手法で展開した経緯について話を聞く。協力：金村修、岡田翔、大谷能生 作家ウエブサイト：https://komatsu-hiroko.com https://mem-inc.jp/artists/hirokokomatsu_j/ https://mem-inc.jp/2021/01/19/210221ocularinversetransgression/

    Industrial Landscapes, Bodies. Experimentation, Propagation: The World of Hiroko Komatsu In this episode of Multiply Encoded Messages, MEM Director Katsuya Ishida and art writer Stuart Munro dive deep into the genre-defying practice of Komatsu Hiroko, an artist whose work is defined by contradiction and unconventionality. The discussion centers around a recorded interview with Komatsu during her 2021 exhibition, Ocular Inverse Transgression. Ishida and Munro trace Komatsu’s evolution as an artist, from her initial fascination with disorienting industrial landscapes to her expansive installations that consume the exhibition spaces. They highlight her unorthodox presentation methods, such as photographs exhibited on the floor, images hung from the ceiling, and unexpected interruptions with television screens and projectors, creating immersive environments that force the viewer to engage with the artwork.
