THE SLAYING SENIOR tells the tale of a deadly little old lady that uses drugs to kill her boarders, then buries them in her Sacramento yard.  Offering accommodation to the ‘hard to house’, Dorothea Puente makes herself the ‘go to’ landlord for the social services set, who believe she is a kindly little old lady.  Instead, she proves to be a ruthless, efficient killer, who enriches herself through collecting payments to the dead.

THE HYPODERMIC KILLER sees a nurse using a needle to destabilize patients under her care.  In a bizarre twist on Munchausen Syndrome, nurse Kristen Gilbert causes heart attacks by injecting epinephrine into her patients, then tries to rescue them with a defibrillator – all the while playing footsie with her security guard lover.  And though no one ever actually witnesses Gilbert injecting patient, exhumation of her victims ultimately proves that they died as a result of intentional homicide by a serial killer that may have slain as many as forty victims.

THE DEEP-FREEZE KILLER recounts the murder of Aletha Hopkins at the hands of her preacher husband, Anthony.  After discovering Anthony molesting her oldest child, Aletha kicks him out, only to have him return to beat and strangle her to death.  This man of God then goes on to bury, then dig up his wife, finally stuffing Aletha’s corpse into the family freezer.  Hopkins then subjects his eight defenceless children to a biblical reign of terror, raping the two oldest girls.
