Annie’s podcast helps me feel seen, it’s a relief to know that there are other people out there that think the way I do. The kind of people who don’t want to go back to the old way of doing things. The difference with Annie is that she’s doing something about it and guiding others in their quest to do the same. She’s real, more like raw, but in a gentle way. Her podcast helps me to not feel so lonely in this world.

I am so grateful to Annie for creating this podcast! As a woman of color myself who cares deeply about healing generational trauma, honoring my family, and defining my own success, I have found it difficult to find spaces where I feel like I belong and where people truly understand and see me. Annie is both soft and strategic. I wish this podcast had existed years ago when all I saw were white women talking about their version of success. She is also highly intelligent on an intellectual and emotional and soul level. I highly recommend this podcast and the WOC culture club for any WOC looking for a beautiful balance of honoring all parts of you with deep compassion AND action. Thank you for being such a gift to this community, Annie. You have helped me find more of a home within myself and discover more of the wisdom my body carries for me.

Annie has a way of harnessing her vulnerability to help listeners tap into their own vulnerability and get clarity on things that were either fuzzy or just could benefit from a sharper focus. I loved the episode on ancestors—especially as a descendant of enslaved Africans, I’m always thinking of the messages they may have left me and the ones I can feel in my body. This episode got me thinking about how to translate them to my descendants as well as consider the ancestor I want to be and the one I am becoming right now. Excellent podcast! 10 mins is enough to go deep-who knew!?! :)
