    Let's Talk Taboo

    Welcome to the final episode of Season 1 MYA confidential! In this final episode our hosts delve into procedures that aren’t spoken a lot within cosmetic surgery. In part one of this episode, Chloe and Krystina discuss an intimate procedure known as a Labiaplasty. Our hosts explain the reasons why people decide to get a labiaplasty, from discomfort to image, and express how no one should feel embarrassed when enquiring about the procedure as it is much more common than people believe. Krystina explains how discreet and easy the procedure and recovery is, and Chloe stresses the importance that cosmetic surgery is a personal choice and no one should be judged or have to justify their decision. In part two of this episode, our hosts talk about the Blepharoplasty procedure as Krystina explains what a Blepharoplasty is and how it is performed. Our hosts also share a recent Blepharoplasty case performed on one of MYA’s staff and the incredible results and confidence it has given her. Chloe also expresses her concerns about other cosmetic surgery providers performing the surgery at a much cheaper price and Krystina shares a very interesting top tip that a surgeon gave her on how to avoid getting bags under the eyes.  In part three of this episode, Chloe and Krystina delve into the increasingly popular procedure, Liposuction. Krystina talks about how important it is to find a surgeon who feels comfortable and confident performing the procedure, and why liposuction might not be the right procedure for some people.     A Day in the Life of a Patient Coordinator

    Welcome to the seventh episode of MYA confidential! In this episode our hosts are joined by one of MYA’s fabulous Patient Coordinator’s, Ashleigh Defty.     Meet The Founder

    Welcome to the sixth episode of MYA confidential! This episode welcomes a very special guest onto the podcast, as our hosts Krystina and Chloe are joined by MYA’s Founder and Chairman, John Ryan.     Meet The Anaesthetist

    Welcome to the fourth episode of MYA confidential!  This episode of MYA Confidential is filmed at The London Welbeck Hospital as we delve into the world of anesthesia. If you are considering surgery and worried about being put to sleep then this episode is for you! In part one of this episode, we welcome MYA Anesthetist, Dr Vaganov, as he talks about his role with MYA , The Welbeck Hospital and the General Medical Council. Dr Vaganov explains all the precautions that take place behind the scenes before surgery and the length of training that a UK Anesthetist is required to do before becoming qualified. Chloe also highlights the significant difference in safety standards and aftercare between UK surgery and a surgery abroad, and why having strict regulations is important. In part two,  Dr Vaganov explains how he reassures patients that are worried about being put to sleep and gives an insight into the time it takes from a patient receiving the injection to being asleep.
