Positive Pressure Differential: An engineering strategy where clean water is kept at a higher pressure than dirty cooling water to ensure that any leaks push clean water out rather than sucking contaminants in. SOP (Standard Operating Procedure): Detailed, mandatory instructions for tasks like valve sequencing or pipe flushing; a failure to follow these can inadvertently suck non-sterile air into a clean system.
