    In the prologue, Colin M. We are introduced to the first bit of our cast of characters: Lindsey N. as a Summoned named Noctis, Sam as a Mundane named T.J. Sanderson, and Morgan Spatola as a Monstrous named Alabasandra "Allie" Smith, and Colin Parker as a mysterious figure. Also, our heroes find themselves in unknown structure. Noctis tries to hide her true self. T.J. flips off "the cop". Allie falls back on bad habits of lying.
