Narcosis: Into The Deep

I love this podcast and am proud that Alex is being strong and vocal about their need to take a break from the podcast. It’s a lot of work I’m sure and while I’m sad to see it paused, as a fan I totally support your decision. Thank you for the amazing content you’ve produced, and I hope to see more episodes come out if/when you’re up to it. Prioritize your health! It’s the most important thing we all have.

Found this channel from Imgur and so glad I did. Episodes are really well written, the technical aspects are explained clearly (as someone who doesn't dive), and I can't get enough!! Thanks for all you do, Alex.

I saw a post about this show and started listening. Professionally produced, good sound quality, and amazing story telling. Start at the beginning then work your way up, because sometimes older episodes are referenced.

I love this podcast. The only downside of getting into it so early is that I don’t have more episodes to binge! My only complaint is that the episodes are too short. While I understand erring on the side of less-is-more is a smart place to start for a new podcast, I think the episodes would be ideal at around ~45 minutes. I hope it sticks around for awhile and we get to see this happen! 🤞🏼 I was very hesitant to listen to Narcosis—I lost a family member to a diving accident years ago, and I personally have thalassophobia (intense fear of deep or open water, especially that is dark or can’t be seen through). I don’t know why I decided to give it a chance but I’m glad I did. Listening to this makes my heart rate spike at times, and I have a hard time looking at the IG pictures that go with the episodes without getting anxious, but I appreciate how Narcosis treats each victim’s story with respect and care while also always responsibly teaching the audience about diving safety. Thanks Alex 🙏🏼💙 P.S. Would love to hear an episode on Chris Lemons one day!
