Finding lightness in the hard - with Brooke Eby

Finding lightness in the hard - with Brooke Eby

How do you face a terminal diagnosis with humor and grace?
    -
Nataly's guest, Brooke Eby, has found a way and she shares her humor, deep wisdom and inspiring perspective in this episode.
    -
Brooke was diagnosed with ALS at 33. It's a terminal disease that doesn't have a cure and the average life expectancy is 2-5 years after diagnosis.
    -
But she has chosen to face this disease with her signature humor and resilience and to use her (awesome!) voice and growing platform (she has 100s of thousands of followers on Instagram and TikTok) to bring attention to ALS and advocate for more funding and research.
    -
"Life is not forever for any of us," Brooke tells Nataly during their conversation. It is a powerful reminder to live fully, even when life challenges us to our core.

Nataly has helped me for 10 years!

I started following Nataly and her work back when she had the Happier app. Nataly and her team are a little ray of sunshine that have made a HUGE impact on my mental health throughout the years. This podcast covers so many topics and when I’m looking to listen to my next episode, there’s always a relatable one that discusses “exactly what I’m feeling!”

Let your guest speak!

The interviewer talks far too much about herself rather than let her guest speak. I hungered to hear Wendy speak more about her life as a ballet dancer. The host has too big an ego!

Listen and learn!

If you can’t attend Nataly’s free Wednesday webinars, listening to her podcast is the next best thing. Of course you can also learn from this Awesome Human from her books and/or by following her in Instagram and Twitter. Do it and be well, Andy
