This year's National Day holiday lasts for eight days

One of the days is the Mid-Autumn Festival

我们几个好友家庭很早就计划了要一起玩

wǒ men jǐ gè hǎo yǒu jiā tíng hěn zǎo jiù jì huà le yào yì qǐ wán

Several of our close friends' families planned to hang out together a long time ago

一共四个家庭

yī gòng sì gè jiā tíng

There are four families in total

16个大人，7个小孩

shí liù gè dà rén，qī gè xiǎo hái

16 adults and 7 children

经过投票，我们决定了去市郊的一个景区度假

jīng guò tóu piào，wǒ men jué dìng le qù shì jiāo de yī gè jǐng qū dù jià

After voting, we decided to go on vacation to a scenic spot in the suburbs

这个地方是一个著名的景点

zhè ge dì fang shì yī gè zhù míng de jǐng diǎn

This place is a famous scenic spot

叫做“都江堰”

jiào zuò “Dōu jiāng yàn”

It's called "Dujiangyan"

To realize functions such as flood control, irrigation and water transportation

是世界上现存最古老且仍在使用的水利工程之一

反正有了孩子之后再也没有以前的惬意度假了
