Emotions Acceptance Meditation
Last week's episode was all about the power of meditation. This week you are in for a treat. I am guiding you through a meditation that will help you process and accept any emotions that you have that are causing you stress, anxiety, or keeping you down.
Especially now, with the holidays around the corner, stress can be high.
Many people use a control strategy for their emotions - meaning they try to shove them down, distract themselves with alcohol, food, shopping, TV, rather than allow the emotion to be processed.
Use this meditation as often as you need to practice allowing your emotions to exist without controlling them.
The beginning of this episode features an explanation and how to prepare for this session.
Then there is a 7 minute meditation you can use anytime.

Career Passion Blueprint - Day 3
It’s here! Day 3 of the Career Passion Blueprint masterclass!
In this episode, we’re diving into the most important piece of creating your unique blueprint and discovering what your ideal career is...
Managing your mindset is the foundation that lets everything else happen.
Believe it or not, your brain is operating 90% in your subconscious.
That means that less than 10% is your conscious mind. That part of your brain that you think is guiding you, really isn’t.
So, your social conditioning from your upbringing, society, media and past experiences can work against you without you even realizing it.
I’m not telling you this to make your brain into an enemy.
You have to love your brain. It makes you you. It's there to protect you. It is doing its job.
You just have to learn to identify when it's not helping you and it's actually working against you, so you can know when you should move forward, when you should make a change, and when you shouldn't.
I’m also sharing some case studies of how my Career Passion Blueprint framework has been used by others so you can really see how you can apply this in your own life.
If you’re ready to create your blueprint and take action on your dreams, this is the episode for you!
The 3 factors that motivate your brain
How to identify when your brain is not helping you and what to do about it
Common pitfalls and mistakes
Why what you think is the answer probably isn’t the answer at all

Simple & easy way to understand your mind
I really enjoyed your podcast of Neuroplasticity - The Science behind changing thoughts
It is fascinating how the brain works and as scientist I needed to hear all that backgorund to click on my mind. I knew and would feel better after sport, yoga, distractions, etc, but now knowing that is for erase and/or reset all bad experiences and have a white board for new experiences I push myself to make time for that.
My two cents on that is that is good to do it but having the purpose and intention for the benefit is what will make the real effect!
Fantastic podcast that can help you in many stages of your career. Listening to this podcast was catalytic in my career journey. Melissa frames the topics in engaging and relatable ways. Thank you Melissa for the work you are doing to help others live their purpose!
