Two drunks at the end of a bar
While one host seems to know a bit about the history of alcohol they just sounds like 2 drunks at the end of the bar. The only reason why I can think this podcast gets such high ratings is because there are a lot of people like listening to the two drunks rambling at the end of the bar. While it’s not an issue that they’re clearly drunk, they have little to no knowledge about what they’re talking about. Maybe they do but the amount of “um…”, “like…” & “ah…” In their ramblings was painful. Then when they did an entire episode on rum, mentioned that there was a lot of rum around the Caribbean without even mentioning that slavery was the reason was the reason for the rum is just unforgivable. Waste of my time.
