Girls Tech Show is a monthly series for girls to have peer-to-peer conversations about technology, social media, and issues that affect them. The girls discuss topics relevant to digital policy, campaigns, gender biases and stereotypes, the digital gender gap, misinformation and disinformation, digital technologies, and the intersection of technology across other issues. Girls Tech Show is a platform for girls to raise their voices, inspire each other and speak about their experiences related to technology.

Like so many places in the world, it is still mainstream for boys and men to be the only ones in tech in Sierra Leone. Hawa and Hawanatu are here to change that. Hawanatu is a web and app developer at the Orange Digital Center, where she is refining her skills and working on her own digital solutions. Hawa has co-founded the Kamara Yokie Innovation Center, where she brings youth together to learn about robotics, technology, 3D design, and so much more.
