    This is the real deal!  All marketing aside, there are some challenges that homeowners and contractors are facing because how how energy efficiency is being managed - that have nothing to do with construction trades, materials, or supply chains - its the bureaucracy.  Dayne offered us a really valuable insight into how his application process to renovate his garage into a carriage house was very difficult.   The need for an energy audit really complicated the process in working with the City of Kelowna.  He shares his experience and offers guidance to others who may be in the same situation.
