What a great show!

I loved listening to this! So far I’ve heard the trailer and the episode with Randal Park. This show is well produced, fun to listen to, relatable. I really see this getting syndication somewhere if it hasn’t already. There are so many great aspects to this show. Storytelling, comedy, inspiration. A had a few moments when Park’s story connected with me personally in a great way. Other moments when I burst out laughing.

“Is there ice cream involved, and what flavor?”
such gold in this series. Herrguth and Glickman really represent the listener well here in how you relate to the storyteller. They are the storyteller, really. But how they do that and get the story going, how they relate, inserts this listener into the dialog.
Listened while running. I can start my day today when done listening.
Enriching, entertaining, amusing, touching, inspiring.

Great comfort listening

These interviews are totally absorbing and even inspiring. If you’re feeling bruised by life or career, this podcast lets you sit for a while with some really smart, successful stars and cultural creatives who have had more than their fair share of lumps and bumps. It’s reassuring to hear that lots of people have suffered through some intense difficulties and have gotten through them, more or less in one piece, and done some of their best work afterwards.

Inspirational

Guess I thought people who are so successful in life maybe just caught a lot of breaks. The interviews really showed me how off that thinking was.
