    Dodgers’ brilliant pitching sinks Brewers to 0-2 NLCS hole + Mariners two wins away from 1st World Series berth

    The Milwaukee Brewers won the most games this season with their impressive and dynamic play on the field. However, when the Los Angeles Dodgers came to American Family Field two days ago, they arrived with two elite starting pitchers, hoping to shut down the Brew Crew and return to LA in the driver’s seat. That is exactly what happened. On this episode of the Baseball Bar-B-Cast, Jake Mintz and Jordan Shusterman talk about the incredible back-to-back pitching performances from Blake Snell in Game 1 and the complete-game shutout by Yoshinobu Yamamoto in Game 2 that has the Dodgers heading home with a 2-0 NLCS series lead.     Mariners take Game 1 of ALCS, Brewers & Dodgers set for NLCS clash + Cubs-Tigers postmortem

    After the epic 15-inning ALDS Game 5 classic that saw the Seattle Mariners take down the Detroit Tigers, the Toronto Blue Jays were set to take on a tired M’s club in the ALCS. However, the Mariners proved them wrong and shocked the baseball world by taking down Toronto on the road and grabbing an early 1-0 series advantage. On this episode of the Baseball Bar-B-Cast, Jake Mintz and Jordan Shusterman break down all the action from Game 1, which saw Cal Raleigh go deep yet again and the Blue Jays make a questionable decision by pulling Kevin Gausman in the 6th inning.     Dodgers walk-off into the NLCS, Cubs force Game 5 with Brewers & Tigers-Mariners set for Friday showdown

    The Los Angeles Dodgers have booked their 8th trip to the National League Championship Series since 2013 by walking off in the bottom of the 11th inning against the Philadelphia Phillies. While Dodgers fans celebrated advancing, it was Orion Kerkering and the rest of Philly left wondering what if.     Blue Jays eliminate the Yankees, Tigers-M’s go to Game 5 and Phillies & Cubs force Game 4 in NLDS

    The Toronto Blue Jays are the first team to punch their ticket to the League Championship Series after knocking out the New York Yankees on Wednesday night. It’ll be the first time since 2016 that Canada’s team will be playing for the AL pennant. However, their opponent is still up in the air, with a massive Game 5 set to take place on Friday.     Yankees on the brink of elimination, Mariners win first home postseason game since ’01 & Dodgers take early NLDS lead

    The New York Yankees, fresh off an exciting Wild Card Series victory against the Boston Red Sox, were hoping to carry that momentum into the ALDS against the Toronto Blue Jays this weekend. However, things have turned very sour and the Bronx Bombers now find themselves in a 0–2 hole as the series shifts to New York.     Cam Schlittler's historic night leads Yankees to ALDS + Wild Card recap & ALDS/NLDS previews

    October is when MLB legends are made and Thursday night a Yankee came through with a legendary performance to close out the Wild Card round. The New York Yankees defeated the Boston Red Sox to move on to the ALDS behind a historic performance from Cam Schlittler.     2025 MLB Postseason Wild Card round preview + Mets and Astros don’t make the cut

    The 2025 MLB Postseason is set to get underway on Tuesday, and after a wild regular season of action, the field is finally set. The Wild Card round features exciting and intriguing matchups that are sure to get the playoffs off to a bang.     Final weekend of the regular season: AL East & Central up for grabs, Mets barely holding onto NL Wild Card spot

    After 159 games have been played and settled, the final weekend slate of the 2025 MLB regular season is upon us, and there is plenty of drama set to unfold. With a few postseason spots still up for grabs, as well as a couple of division crowns, we’re sure to be in for a memorable finish to an unforgettable regular season of baseball.
