Yes, it's true, fans, TCM has finally corrected the reference to a "poor" Quaker family  (Friendly Persuasion) when in fact they are quite well off. However, they have moved the action from Pennsylvania to Indiana for no apparent reason.PS TCM has a similar problem with Giant -- to be broadcast this weekend. Look for Maryland to be moved to New England.

The reason it has a heating element is to ensure sanitizing of the load. The hotter the water, the faster it dries.It’s a variation on the electric “vampire” theme of yesteryear… You know those always-on devices, like your home fax, incandescent light bulbs, clothes dryer, phone dock (remove the battery first), TV, and microwave clock. The common denominator for reducing electric usage is HEAT. You can defeat those “vampires” by using a power strip and turning those devices off when leaving for extended periods.

    God Bless America, recorded live by iPhone at Steinway Piano Studio.Now we know the reason President Trump didn’t take questions at his post-summit meeting in Alaska—this week, he admitted that Vadimer had "let me down!"  Let’s face it, fans, there are never any winners in a civil war; our own experience ought to tell us that.It must be contagious, a federal prosecutor in Newuva York is resigning rather than prosecute a fellow felon.Yes, Jerry, even if you have been a Congressman and now serve as a Senator, you may not claim your DC residence as your primary residence!  Even Senators are required to live in the state they serve. You don’t get a pass for “prior service” even if you may be committed to a single term. FYI/It’s mortgage fraud to claim to have more than one primary residence, and it’s especially egregious if you're the Attorney General of that state.

They were built for speed and not as heavily armored or armed as a battleship.  Heavy Cruisers were named for major cities and state capitals.  Battleships were named for states. Light or (AA/Cruisers) were named for minor cities or towns. One ☝️ of their tasks was to screen or protect the carrier force. At the time, our aircraft carriers were among the fastest vessels 🚢 in the fleet.  (they had to be to launch aircraft)
