    Study from Home's Experience

    Study from Home's Experience

The global lockdown due to coronavirus has forced the world’s government to order close down any mass gathering which includes school, concert, cinema, or even meeting with more than 5 people, Cambodia is no exception. The royal government of Cambodia rushed to issue a decree ordering the closedown of public and private educational institutions in the first week of rapid widespread in Cambodia. Many institutions were caught completely off guard. Some rushed to organize online learning, some took a few months before properly organizing a decent system. The digital divide also plays an important role in obstructing the practice of online learning. Most students in rural areas do not have access to good smartphones let alone an affordable internet connection.

Mr. Vincent Heng, a 3rd-year scholarship student, majoring in Management at the National University of Management (NUM).

Studying from home is much more challenging than he thought. At first, he wasn’t adaptable to take online classes and almost failed to manage my group's assignment with 11 members as a leader from distance.

But later on, with continuous improvements to his habits, self-discipline, time management, and studying approach, the results become drastically better both his studying from home experiences and distant group management.

    Life of A Full-Stack Developer

    Life of A Full-Stack Developer

Most tech companies providing services like e-commerce, web development, delivery often separate their development team into two departments. The frontend and the backend. The frontend team has to work on developing the user interface that is seen and interacted with. They used various technologies like HTML, CSS, Javascript, or even programming languages like Java, PHP, or Python to build progressive web applications while backend developers work on the back to develop servers for frontend applications. They are people who hard code the business logic, doing computational tasks, and manipulating the database. There are many choices in choosing technologies to fit the business requirement. It’s often handy to have someone with interdisciplinary skills to connect the two departments.
