    Overcoming Failure and Starting Small with Spencer Hendel

    On this week’s episode of the Next Level Hustle Podcast, Boomer and John sit down with eight-time individual CrossFit Games veteran, Spencer Hendel. Spencer explores what over a decade of elite competition and training taught him about the power of starting small, overcoming failure, creating a winning mentality, and using his hustle to give back and make a difference in the lives of others. Spencer also shares how he took his hustle and expertise to the next level by successfully launching a training and education platform for gym owners, coaches, and athletes, the HAM Plan, that was eventually acquired by Crossfit.    Guest Bio:  Spencer Hendel is an eight-time individual CrossFit Games veteran, competing in every CrossFit Games from 2009-2012 and 2015-2018. Though a bubble athlete frequently on the cusp of qualification, fans were shocked when he missed qualification for this first time in 2013 and then again in 2014, each by just one place. But Hendel proved he wasn’t down and out just yet with a comeback in 2015, returning to the Games and taking a career-best finish of fifth place.
