    You Can't Hate a Guy In a Wheel Chair

    In this podcast I had the privilege to interview my friend Jeff Griffin while we were both speaking at a conference this past weekend.  For those who don’t know him, Jeff has accomplished some extraordinary things.  Jeff always dreamed of playing sports on the ‘big stage’! As a kid he envisioned playing college football as a receiver. He was one-step closer to fulfilling his dream when the following summer a construction accident left him broken and paralyzed from the waist down. His life and dreams were shattered but not defeated. During those darkened days, he had a decision to make; he could stay down and quit or get back up and succeed. He chose the latter.  He played in the 2004 Paralympic games in Athens Greece and competed in Amsterdam, Holland, as a silver medalist for the USA men’s wheelchair basketball team. Jeff played in the National Wheelchair Basketball Association (NWBA) as a National Champion, and was a 4-time All-Star MVP. He was the #1 men's wheelchair tennis player in the State of Utah and won the St. George Marathon. Jeff also has two Guinness Book of World Records. Griffin started two successful business from scratch and created a non-profit organization called the ‘Road to Recovery’, which impacts thousands of injured vets and physically disabled persons. We talk about all his next steps along the way and ones he is taking today. We talk about adversity, the best question he was ever asked and who his biggest influence was in his life.

    Twenty three minutes! That's how long my friend Dominic had no heart beat before he was revived in the hospital. In this podcast I interview my good friend, Dominic. Dominic is completely blind because of a heart attack he suffered just a few years ago. Because of his heart attack he lost his eye sight. In this podcast interview Dominic talks about his story and how he has even more vision for his life then he did when he could see. Dominic talks about his struggle, his triumph and what's next for him despite apparent limitations in his life. This podcast is a must listen!

    Who Gets To Tell You Who You Are?

    Why are we so easily angered by things that don't mater in the end? Maybe someone said something to you that didn't sit well in your soul, our boss is a jerk, or we just feel like no one is loving us where we are in life. I tell my story about how my day started off awful and I felt disrespected by one of the bigger business owners in my area. This question is how I dig deeper so I can get to the root of the problem verses just masking it. If we don't deal with our junk now it will come out sooner than later at the most inopportune times.
