Night Classy

You matched with a guy on Hinge who seemed normal—like, suspiciously normal. So you go on a coffee date. It’s chill. He talks a lot about his dog. You like dogs. So far, so good. Second date? You go to the park. He brings his dog. The dog barks at you the entire time like you owe it money. Third date, he invites you to his place for dinner. You show up. No lights are on. He opens the door wearing a cape. Like—not a jacket. A literal cape. He says it’s “for the vibes.” You’re like, whatever, the food smells good. You sit down to eat. He made spaghetti. Cool. You take one bite—it’s completely raw. Like, the noodles are crunchy. Not al dente. Like…Cap’n Crunch. You politely ask if it’s a new recipe. He dead serious says: “It’s how my ancestors prepared it. They were warriors.” You say you’re full. He asks if you want to watch Twilight. You say no. He puts it on anyway. You sit through 25 minutes of Twilight, make an excuse, leave early, and block his number. Two days later, you get a Venmo request: “$6.99 for spaghetti ingredients.”

This is by far my favorite podcast. You’d think it would get repetitive, but it doesn’t. I look forward to driving home everyday and listening to this trio, even making some detours to finish off an episode. It warms my heart listening to people do what they love.

Love the banter between the girls and Alec! Kat and Hayley always choose the best stuff to cover so I’m never bored when I’m doing dishes, at the gym or take long drives. Keep up the fantastic work, guys!

This podcast is amazing and their holy trinity relationship is really great. I’m really glad they’re back in the studio face to face. I would say half of the show is their hard work on making topics to discuss and the editing and production but the other half really is all three of their personalities coming together. That’s mainly why I tune in. They seem like great people and their show is a lot of fun. Thanks y’all!
