    What’s up Classmates, Our guest for today's Class Discussion is Christopher Martin founder of @cmartysjerk & @cmartymar⁣ Christopher is a 1st generation West Indian men based in NYC, he grew up in the Kitchen & developed an early passion for streetwear. Over the past years he decided to merge the two worlds together, fusing Jamaican food with streetwear, sneaker culture, music and adding himself into the mix.Through his connections in streetwear he started to cook for his of friends & their events which soon lead him to cater the major events around the city attending Trade shows like Agenda, Capsule and Liberty Fairs.     What’s up Classmates, In this Class Discussion we invited Eric & Jeff from Itsthereal, Eric & Jeff are brothers based in New York City, they’ve been in the hip-hop scene for over a decade, from doing sketch comedy videos, to selling their self-titled show to MTV and releasing their own debut album where they’ve performed sold-out shows in NYC, London & LA. We discovered Eric & Jeff by tuning in their Chat-topping interview podcast “A Waste of Time” they’ve interviewed everyone from Common, Mac Miller, Trevor Noah, Tierra Wack, Joe Freshgoods, Cam Kirk & many many more. ⁣ ⁣  In this discussion we spoke about the come up story of Eric & Jeff, being both student of the hip-hop game, Jeff got his early start by meeting a guy named Kanye West, He became his personal videographer at the beginning stages of Kanye’s career, he got to document some of Kanye’s biggest moments like his 2005 first Grammy award, Eric worked as a writer for HBO & AOL comedy, we spoke about their early comedy sketch videos, some of their legendary interviews & everything they’ve accomplished so far on their journey.  These guys are the reason why we started Class Discussion, they’ve inspired us to create & launch our own interview show. It was fun as a fan to interview the interviewers, they’ve got such a unique approach to their craft, they’ve got a dynamic charisma & chemistry together,  this discussion was super insightful for us, They shared a lot of tips on how to launch a podcast but overall there’s just so much to learn from their creative process & their whole trajectory.  We hope that you enjoy it as much as we did & hopefully leave with some knowledge or a spark of inspiration.     What’s up Classmates,  In this Class Discussion we invited LA based rapper, Kayo Genesis, Kayo released his debut album in 2018 called Bad Sushi, one of his songs got discovered on SoundCloud by Aminé, he loved it so much that he invited Kayo on tour with him & Buddy. They sold out venues all over the US & Canada. Ever since then He’s been constantly expanding his music catalogue along with curating compelling music videos directed & edited entirely by himself. ⁣   In this discussion we spoke about Kayo’s come up story, him working behind the music scene as a dancer, writing songs for big time artists like Mary J Blige, directing & shooting music videos, he spoke about ditching the offer to participate in the Netflix show Rhythm & Flow to focus on his music trajectory.   I truly appreciate Kayo’s approach to his craft, the music is refreshing & diverse, from his vocals, melodies to his bars and but also the world he’s built with his music videos,    Kayo is a true multidisciplinary artist & innovator. Not only is he talented but has a great perspective on life, he shared his thoughts on Manifestation & speaking his dreams into existence.   For all you up-and-coming artists out there, directors & videographers this is a great class discussion to tune into!    We truly appreciate every single one of you who’s been tuning into this podcast.     ALBERT PHAM - CLASS DISCUSSION

    What's up Classmates, In this Class Discussion we invited Albert Pham a Atlanta based Photographer + Creative director. Albert has worked alongside rapper & producer childish major , he's done everything from shooting his campaigns, album covers and directing some music videos. He's taken some epic photos of Dapper Dan, Billie Eillish, Ludacris & many more.⁣ ⁣We connected with Al back in 2018, he shot an editorial with Childish Major where he was wearing our No Diploma hoodie the photos ended up on Billboard.com, Hypebeast and many other publication. That photoshoot was a pivotal moment for us because we had just launched No Diploma, It really gave us the confidence at an early stage, we are forever grateful for them giving us that love & support early on.   In this discussion we spoke about Albert’s come up as a photographer, how he got in contact with Childish Major, his experience on tour, and having other great opportunities like shooting the legend Dapper Dan. We also spoke about his passion for music & how he learned to produced at the legendary revenge of the dreamers camp,    For all you photographers out there and especially the ones who dream to work with musicians, this is a great class discussion to tune into!   It's been beautiful to see his trajectory so far with Al and the whole Humility city team, it was a fun conversation he shared a lot of great advice & knowledge for up-and-coming photographers.
