No Longer Strangers

Grace Ahn

What does it take for a stranger to become a friend? How can we include the excluded? How do we listen to and love people because they are made in the image of God? Each week, I’ll be inviting a friend or a stranger-that-turns-into-a-friend and talk about anything you would around a dinner table. My hope for this podcast is that we continue to move towards people in their humanity through storytelling and deem them as, dare I say it, no longer strangers. | @werenolongerstrangers

Episode 7: Grace Ahn, host of No Longer Strangers

CELEBRATION IS IN ORDER! It’s my first full solo episode + my one year anniversary of starting biblical counseling! Cheers to processing your emotions, showing up for yourself, + becoming more aware. So,  what better way to celebrate this great milestone than with a solo episode. That's why this episode is super special- think of it as a spoken journal where I share more of who I am + what God has been doing this past year.  Some of those are changing my season of mourning into a season of dancing, earthquaking my entire security, uprooting my life, and more! I also answer some of your fun questions sent via Instagram! :) Here are the people and shows I mentioned in this episode. Go show them some love!  Tess Clarke does amazing work with immigrants and refugees called SEEK Peace and We Welcome Refugees. She also did an interview, which includes the story about the women and her family + the ministry of presence Here are some of my favorite podcasts! I’m such a big fan, so go show them some love and subscribe to their show! Happy Hour with Jamie Ivey, Annie and Eddie Keep Talking, Typology, The New Activist, Thirty Minutes with the Perry’s, the Michelle Obama Podcast, and the Same Boat Podcast. Make sure you let me know what your favorite condiment is @werenolongerstrangers on Instagram! Let’s see which condiment is the best condiment of all time! I’m voting for hot sauce. Thanks Juntaek Hong (@hong.jt) for creating the music for this episode! As always, go do something fun with a friend or a stranger that turned into a friend and I'll see you next week! :)
