Join our busy kitchen table talk on No One Likes Matcha, with humorous, dot-connecting conversations of sisters Angelina and Misa, intuitive counselor and coach. No One Likes Matcha is about the lived experiences of sisters who have much to share and much in common, like their Japanese-Mexican American roots, motherhood, and childhood as Asian Americans growing up in Japan … there’s a lot of laughter, ah-ha moments, deep realizations that only come when siblings stumble into discoveries about their past together over laughter, tears, and sarcasm - IYKYK From a love-match discovered on an overseas tour-of-duty, we were born to a mixed-raced family of 6, on the island of Okinawa.  Our father was an artist from L.A. who had a passion for food and created an Okinawan-Mexican food legacy. Our mother, though born and raised in Japan, broke norms to stand at the helm and lead our family (and is often the central character of our childhood excavations.)   We were born a decade apart. Misa, the eldest and a coach, while Angelina, the middle daughter, is an intuitive counselor. Together, we explore the realities of midlife, menopause, family dynamics, and the cultural expectations that come with being Asian American women.  Join our matriarchal, witchy, warm sister-chat and mine for laughter and lessons with us. Discover the common beliefs shaped by the cultures from our past that no longer apply, and try new things, because not everyone likes matcha.
