Episode 11: Need a sign to pivot your career? ft. Michelle V. Wolf

On today’s podcast, we are sitting down with the founder of Empowher LA, Michelle Valenzuela Wolf. Michelle created this program for women to connect with their inner selves which then creates space, energy, and time to dive into projects and personal goals that they are passionate about.  Connectivity and diversity are core values of Empowher LA, as they are values Michelle lives by every day. Empowher LA also prides itself on being a place where women can collaborate with other female business moguls and without feeling the pressure to compete or fight for attention or praise. Michelle aims to create a safe space for women with Empowher LA and continues to push for inclusivity rather than exclusivity.  Our discussion with Michelle was truly enlightening and one that boosted our overall confidence. We talk through the origins of Empowher LA and how her family has been her biggest support group through it all.  Having two business women talk not just about the importance of being a female in the work force but actively supporting other boss women was extremely eye opening. We hope that this episode garners more conversations surrounding women supporting women and why collaborations are more proactive than competition.  Topics Discussed: Michelle and her life prior to Empowher LAWhy Michelle started Empowher LAWhat is Empowher LAHost: LeeAnn Sauter Guest: Michelle V. Episode 10: Life Updates

We are so excited to share our tenth episode with you all today! We have worked so hard to make this dream become a reality, and seeing so many of you follow along with the No Ordinary Moment Podcast, as we grow, makes our hearts so happy and filled with gratitude.  There have been so many changes since this podcast started and even though the main moments are positive, there have been a few major bumps in the road that have taught us to take a step back and settle down a bit. One of these big life moments happened a few weeks back when we found out that LeeAnn had contracted COVID. Obviously, this was very hard for LeeAnn to come to terms with, seeing that she has been staying as safe as she can be and hasn’t been sick in years.  Being quarantined at home for three weeks taught LeeAnn how important it is to relax, especially when your body is trying to fight something off. If you know LeeAnn well, you know that she is not one to just “take it easy”. She is constantly on the go. With COVID, your body can easily feel stress, and even the slightest moment of stress can land you in bed for the whole day.  We don’t want to give too much away, but being sick with COVID really taught LeeAnn how important self-care is and how we all need to take time for ourselves because our bodies and minds depend on it.  LeeAnn is back to feeling 100% again and was surrounded (emotionally) by so much love and support while she recovered. We understand that contracting COVID is not an easy topic to talk about, but we wanted to have this candid discussion with our listeners because we believe it is what they deserve.   Talking Points: · LeeAnn’s experience with COVID · What Leeann’s goals and plans are for 2021 · Why self-care is so important to LeeAnn now · Lessons from contracting Coronavirus Resources: Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Host: LeeAnn Sauter The No Ordinary Moment Podcast is all about community, serving others, and assisting those who will listen. We will be talking about family, business, travel, growing, learning, and everything in between.

Episode 09: Do Good & Be Good with John Sauter | The Houseless Crisis in LA

In the newest NOM episode, LeeAnn sits down with her husband, John, to chat about their goals for this New Year and how they plan to better their family and themselves. Recently, John and LeeAnn have been taking steps to help the houseless population in Los Angeles. Instead of just waiting for a solution to happen, LeeAnn and John have been donating nonperishable food, clothing and their time to help their unhoused neighbors. The homeless population skyrocketed 12.7% this previous year, bringing the total number of houseless individuals to 66,433. This number alone is gut wrenching, and knowing that the numbers are still steadily increasing is utterly heartbreaking.  Throughout this New Year, they both are committed to creating change within their environments and using their platforms to do the right thing. LeeAnn recently wrote a blog post that can be found below that talk about the houseless crisis and the many ways everyone can help to combat it. This crisis has been eye opening for both LeeAnn and John and has reminded them to use their privilege to help those in need.  The No Ordinary Moment Podcast team is always so grateful to have John with us on the podcast and being able to talk with him about a subject matter that is extremely important to all of us. This is truly a very thought-provoking episode. We hope you enjoy this episode as much as we do and as always, feel free to like and subscribe to our podcast as well as follow along with us on Instagram @noordinarymomentpod.

Episode 04: Human Design with Erin Claire Jones

On this week’s podcast, LeeAnn is teaming up with another special guest host!  Her name is Erin Claire Jones and she is an esteemed leadership coach who specializes in Human Design.  Erin has worked with companies and startups from all over the world by conducting leadership challenges and building a harmonious bridge between executive and staff. With her Human Design work, Erin effectively calculates each person’s personality with her Human Design test and maps out a blueprint for him or her so that they can see how they operate as whole. According to her website, Human Design can be best described as “the science of understanding yourself” and helps in the field of “shedding light on your emotional, psychological and energetic makeup.”  In today’s interview, LeeAnn will be going over the different types of Human Designs (Manifestor, Generator, Manifesting Generator, Projector and Reflector), how Erin describes each type, which type LeeAnn is, and what LeeAnn’s purpose in the world is based on her Human Design.  Below, we have listed the different Human Design types and a little explanation to each. We encourage you all to visit Erin’s website (link below) and take the test and see which Human Design most aligns with your personality!  Human Design Types:  Manifestors:  The trailblazer’s of the design types; Manifestors are here to create movements within the Universe and make up 9% of the population. Generators: The builders and laborers of the types; Generators are the natural doers of the Universe and make up about 31% of the population. Manifesting Generators: This is a hybrid type between a Manifestor and a Generator; these types are made to initiate change and make things happen all at once! Manifesting Generators make up about 37% of the population. Projectors: These types have special abilities to look within others and have a unique sense of how the Universe works. They make up about 22% of the population. Reflectors: This is the rare Human Design type since they have a mirroring affect to them. They show what other’s fail to see in themselves, which is a unique gift to have. Because of this, they only make up about 1% of the population.  What We Talk About:  Information about Erin and her work with Human DesignThe different design typesLeeAnn’s Human Design typeHer strategy/how she is meant to cultivate opportunities for herselfHer authority and how she is supposed to make decisionsHow LeeAnn best processes informationWhere LeeAnn most gets off track and where she has the greatest potential for wisdomHer aligned and un-aligned selfHer innate strength and weaknessesHow LeeAnn is here to manifest her purpose  Resources: Human Design Test:  https://erinclairejones.com/lookupErin’s Blueprint (Use code LEEANN for 10% Off!): https://erinclairejones.com/blueprintDetails on the design types: https://www.goodomen.com/blog/understanding-the-5-human-design-typesErin’s Instagram:  https://www.instagram.com/erinclairejones/ Host: LeeAnn Sauter Guest: Erin Claire Jones - @erinclairejones For more information, visit: http://www.noordinarymomentpod.com The No Ordinary Moment Podcast is all about community, serving others, and assisting those who will listen.
