Clubhouse, To All the Boys I've Loved, Mr. Queen's disappointing finale, reactions to Chris Harrison's interview with Rachel Lindsay
We have a packed and varied agenda this week! We start by covering our initial impressions of the buzzy Clubhouse audio listening app, including what we think works well vs what doesn't. We then review the full To All The Boys trilogy, including the evolution of the actors and maturity in the final installment Always and Forever. Janet finished Mr. Queen and felt pretty supreme disappointment that this is what she spent 20 hours waiting for. And finally we give our unfiltered, honest thoughts on the Chris Harrison interview that sparked an outcry in Bachelor Nation, as well as the larger and harder to solve issues it shone light upon in our corporate society.
This is also the first episode we're releasing under our new podcast name, No Perfect Ending. We hope you like the title as much as we do; endings are the most critical part of any fictional story for us (see our episode on Best/Worst endings), and it felt fitting for our discussions. What we've enjoyed watching: True Beauty (halfway review), Titanic sinking videos & learnings, Dream Home Makeover season 2
In this episode, Bebe and Janet give an update on our favorite Kdrama of the moment, True Beauty, touching on why we like it so much better at the halfway point versus when it started. We share our favorite scenes from this drama and why we love Cha Eun Woo so much. We also touch on other things we've been watching, including Dream Home Makeover season 2 and everything Janet has learned from 50+ hours of binging Titanic history and sinking videos (it gets a little morbid, but we think some of the learnings are fascinating).
