No Surrender

Justin Cole

Justin Cole is a Texas-born serial entrepreneur, husband, and host of No Surrender — a podcast about real people who hit rock bottom and found a way back up. Justin's childhood was challenging. His parents divorced when he was very young, his dad worked insane hours, his mother suffered from a debilitating illness that kept her away for long periods of time, and his sister was born severely disabled. He was able to add mixed fractions in his head at the age of four, before being formally taught about them, but his dyslexia was so severe that he had to attend special ed classes through the middle of second grade. By 15, Justin was a standout athlete and young business owner. By 17, he was homeless. From high school quarterback to being assaulted and nearly killed by his high school's spirit squad, to facial cranial reconstructive surgery, to multiple arrests, and living out of motels, his teenage years were marked by struggle, defiance, and survival. But rock bottom wasn't a one-time event — it became a recurring teacher. In college, Justin went from rebuilding his life to securing a multimillion-dollar loan to open his first luxury car dealership before graduation. Within a year, the Great Recession hit. He lost everything — his home, his business, and nearly his will to keep going. What followed was a relentless cycle of rebuilding. Justin spent years learning the hard truths of leadership, resilience, and faith while advancing through the ranks in the automotive industry. In 2016, out of a small construction trailer he shared with three other dealers, he took a massive leap of faith: he founded what would become Accelerate Auto Group, a family of companies that has since grown into a multimillion-dollar operation. Alongside his wife, Andrea, Justin has faced theft, betrayal, attacks that required the FBI's involvement, significant financial loss, and near collapse various times — yet every challenge has become a stepping stone. Together, they've built multiple eight-figure businesses, survived the chaos of a pandemic, and learned that faith, grit, and perseverance can carry YOU through anything. For Justin, No Surrender isn't just a podcast — it's a mission. It's about turning pain into purpose. It's about surrendering not to defeat, but to God. And it's about reminding people that no matter how deep the valley, there's always a way out. Because sometimes, all it takes to rise again is a single inspiring story. No Surrender to the trials. No Surrender to the fear. Only surrender to the Almighty.

No Surrender Quick Lesson: Amy Lord | Sometimes You Have to Surrender to Win

Amy Lord spent 22 years battling addiction before realizing she couldn't fight her way out of it alone. Her story began at 15, during the breakdown of her family. In the middle of that pain, she was introduced to crystal meth, beginning a cycle of drug and alcohol abuse that would follow her for more than two decades. But looking back, Amy realized she wasn't addicted to just one substance. She was addicted to "more." More intensity. More escape. More of anything that could temporarily quiet the pain she hadn't dealt with. For years, Amy tried to manage it while maintaining the appearance that everything was under control. She built a successful career. She became a high-functioning addict. And privately, the cycle continued. Then came October 21, 2005. After a night of partying left her hours from home, late for work, and unsure of what had happened the night before, Amy knew something had to change. On the ride home, she prayed. When she arrived, she fell to her knees and surrendered to God, asking to be delivered from the addiction she had spent years trying to overcome on her own. Then she did something else that terrified her: she told her general manager the truth. That surrender became the beginning of a different life. Amy has now celebrated 20 years of sobriety. In this No Surrender Quick Lesson, Justin Cole and Amy explore a powerful contradiction: Sometimes you have to surrender to win. Justin and Amy cover: How addiction entered Amy's life as a teenager Why she realized she was addicted to "more of everything" The difference between willpower and surrender Why trying harder wasn't enough to break the cycle The night Amy finally reached her breaking point What surrender looked like after 22 years of addiction Why surrender doesn't mean giving up How the principle of believing in something bigger than yourself can reach beyond any one faith or belief system Whether you're battling addiction, trying to break an unhealthy pattern, carrying something you can't control, or simply facing a season where trying harder isn't working, Amy's story offers a different definition of strength. Sometimes you have to surrender to win. This is just one lesson from our full conversation with Amy Lord. No Surrender Quick Lesson: Mark Divine: Win the Battle in Your Mind Before You Ever Fight It

Before Mark Divine became the #1 graduate and Honor Man of his Navy SEAL class, he learned a lesson that changed the course of his life: every battle is won in your mind before it's ever fought in reality. A chance encounter with a martial arts Grand Master introduced him to visualization, breathwork, meditation, and the practice of asking better questions. Those practices transformed a successful but unfulfilled CPA into a Navy SEAL Team Commander, where he taught the same mental skills to his teammates. In this No Surrender Quick Lesson, Mark shares why success is created long before the moment of performance. Justin and Mark cover: • Why visualization creates confidence before experience • How breath work changes your response under pressure • The power of asking better questions • Why stillness is a competitive advantage • How Mark mentally prepared before BUD/S • Becoming Honor Man and teaching mental performance to fellow SEALs Whether you're building a business, leading a family, competing in sports, or simply trying to become mentally stronger, this lesson will change the way you prepare for life's biggest battles. This is just one lesson from our full conversation with Mark Divine. Brandon Webb: The SEAL Who Trained Chris Kyle & Marcus Luttrell

Brandon Webb ran the Navy SEAL sniper program that trained the two most famous SEALs in history - "American Sniper" Chris Kyle and "Lone Survivor" Marcus Luttrell, who credits that training with saving his life. His own story is just as remarkable. Kicked out of his home (which happened to be a boat his parents owned and his family lived in at the time) at 16, Brandon fought his way through the Navy's brutal BUD/S selection, deployed after 9/11, and became Course Manager of the SEAL Sniper Course - where his mental management system cut the failure rate from 30% to just 1% without lowering a single standard. Then he lost it all: $4 million of investors' money, his marriage, and five years of work - before rebuilding from zero into a New York Times bestselling author (The Red Circle) and founder of the largest military content network on the internet, reaching 50+ million readers. In this conversation, Justin and Brandon cover: The mental system that cut SEAL sniper failure from 30% to 1% - visualization, emotional regulation, and rewriting your self-talk Surviving Hell Week, and why the "most likely to fail" label made him unbreakable Training Marcus Luttrell - and the reunion after Operation Red Wings Losing $4M and his marriage in the same year, and the comeback playbook Choosing family over military promotion Raising resilient kids, ADHD as an advantage, and why talent is overrated Whether you're leading a company, raising a family, or fighting through your own worst chapter, this episode is a masterclass in refusing to Surrender. Paul Davis Returns: Bible Contradictions, a Psychedelic Encounter with God & the Truth About Manifestation | No Surrender

"Only a psychopath would do that" - that's how Paul Davis describes the God he was taught to worship growing up. In this raw and unfiltered follow-up, Justin Cole welcomes back longtime friend Paul Davis - the Fired-Up Texas Lawyer turned spiritual guide and Real Good News Founder - for a conversation that goes even deeper than Part 1. Paul opens up about the Bible contradictions that continued to unravel his traditional faith, from the conflicting accounts of Judas's death to the unsettling story of Lot and his daughters, and why he came to believe the God he was taught to worship couldn't be the whole picture. He shares a profound psilocybin experience he describes as a direct conversation with God, we walk through a muscle-testing demonstration that reveals hidden truths, and Paul makes the case that Jesus himself taught the principles of manifestation centuries before the word existed. The conversation goes supernatural as Paul recounts manifesting a multi-million-dollar home - and Justin shares a story of manifesting a best friend for his sister. A bold, thought-provoking continuation of Paul's journey through faith, doubt, psychedelics, spiritual awakening and MORE.
