Noah Lyles wins Paris Olympics men's 100m final in photo finish

American Noah Lyles wins the marquee men's 100m final at the Paris Olympics.

The men's 100m sprint final will be remembered as one of the best ever at the Paris Olympics, ending in a dramatic photo finish.

Noah Lyles of the United States dipped across the line to claim the gold medal ahead of Jamaican Kishane Thompson.

Lyles' time was 9.784 seconds, five-one-thousandths of a second ahead of Thompson on 9.789 seconds.

American Fred Kerley was third.
