    Nobody’s Darlings Trailer

Welcome to Nobody’s Darlings – A podcast in which hosts Jodi & Laurie break down their toxic relationships, interview others who have been affected by harmful interpersonal behavior, offer grounding realizations they’ve discovered to help you deal & heal, and add a splash of related events in pop culture to help connect the dots. TRANSCRIPT: The scene: Rural Central-ish Pennsylvania. A river valley community where everyone seems to be separated by no more than two degrees. You know the place: where rumors run rampant, friendship circles and fragile loyalties go deep, and emotional wounds are passed out like party favors. This is the type of place where you fall in love with the wrong person – simply because it’s convenient, and you have just enough in common for them to convince you that it's fated. The numerous red flags should have you running for the not-so-distant hills, but instead, you become more and more entangled. We’d like to facilitate some untangling. Our friendship is a happy byproduct of waved-off red flags, painful healing after deceptive relationships, and reassuring conversations that validate everything we can’t believe we’ve experienced. The more we’ve spoken with others, the more we’ve realized that there are common themes that extend far beyond the scene from which we came. Our goal is to ignite more conversations around these toxic relationships—intimate or otherwise—and find collective comfort in sharing our stories aloud. We’re Nobody's Darlings – torchbearers for the burned.
