    On this episode of the podcast the guys start off by getting right into the creative director musical chairs that seem to be continuing in the fashion world.  Peter Hawkings, who took over at Tom Ford after Tom's departure, is stepping down after just two collections. There's talk of John Galliano leaving Margiela for Fendi, and vacancies remain at Chanel and Givenchy. The conversation then shifts to VF selling Supreme to Essilor Luxottica for $1.5 billion due to disappointing results, raising questions about whether brands can become too big and if expansion is always beneficial. The Olympic Games Paris 2024 have officially begun, which means the kits are out too. Kith has released a Team USA basketball capsule with superstar Kevin Durant, and Birkenstock has opened its first Paris store! The Muleboyz kick off the discussion by highlighting the week's news, beginning with Roc Nation's newly announced multi-year partnership with Versace. This topic segues into the announcement of a partnership between the highly popular streamer Kai Cenat and Nike, sparking a debate on whether an activewear company should collaborate with individuals who gain clout through non-active pursuits. The conversation then turns to predictions about the forthcoming Supreme and MM6 capsule collection.     On this episode of The Muler Report, Jian and Noah start the pod off by talking about their favorite fashion shows during mens AW24 fashion month.  1017 ALYX 9SM announced that the majority stake of the company has been purchased by Hong Kong businessman Adrian Cheng. The boys discuss what they think the new vision for the company looks like and what they hope to see next season.  MIU MIU Men’s has returned to the marketplace, sparking a debate about how the men’s business will carve a lane out for themselves. The guys then get into the collabs of the week starting off with JACQUEMUS x Nike Air Max 1 sneakers. They then hop to the Roc Nation x Moncler Genius capsule designed by JAY Z, and list off some of the best rapper/designers in the game.  The Mule Boyz, of course, speak on their favorite mules of the week and then give some predictions on what they think will be big trends of 2024.     One of the most anticipated moments of men’s FW24 Milan fashion week was Sabato De Sarno’s debut men’s collection for Gucci. The boys have mixed feelings and get into what they see for the future of Gucci. Then, Nike steps into the spotlight with a bunch of buzzworthy news and collabs at the start of the year. There’s Bode's exciting partnership and capsule collection drop, A Cold Wall's Nike TN8s, and the epic return of a Nike grail – the Nike Rufus mules. Pharrell teases an upcoming collaboration with Timberland.  But what really has the Virginia natives excited is the news that the FW24 Louis Vuitton collection will be called Paris Virginia. This has them thinking about familiar references and massive homage.  After listing the mules of the week, the muleboyz throw the question out there: Is Nike actually listening to them and taking their advice with these classic mule comebacks?

    Best Butts of the Year

    On the last episode of 2023, the guys start off the show discussing one of the hottest brands of the year Corteiz and how big of a deal it is that they are collaborating with Supreme.  Next, Vetements has been at odds with Yeezy because of similarities between their sock shoe designs and the boys discuss this in a comedic manner, sharing their overall thoughts on this style of shoe.  Awake NYC and Jordan Brand just teased more pieces from their upcoming collab. Who Decides War and DIPSET released a look book featuring Jim Jones and Juelz Santana wearing beautifully crafted denim and jackets that are covered in logos and embroidery, work synonymous with both brands. There has been some major money moves being made at the top level of the fashion world, starting with the sale of Farfetch and then Matches Fashion . They share they think this is happening and what it means for the future of the two powerhouses.  The most important segment of the pod this episode has to be the legendary BUTT WATCH! The boys pick their top ten mules of the year!  For the last “Muling it Over” of 2023, they deliberate  the “not so new” trend of quiet outdoors.     On this episode, the boys start off by speaking about their recent trips. Jian recounts his experience attending Balenciaga’s FW 24 show in Los Angeles, while Noah talks about his Miami trip for Art Basel, where the weekend's standout event was the launch of FEAR OF GOD Athletics x Adidas. The conversation pivots to major industry news: the departure of Matthew Williams as the head of Givenchy. The hosts reflect on Williams' tenure and the defining moments. MIU MIU has been named the hottest brand of the year which sparks a debate and speculation about potential contenders for next year. Tyler the Creator has launched his second Golf Le Fleur collection, leading the boys to believe that he might be called up to run a major fashion house sooner than later.  McDonald’s continues to do incredible marketing! This time around they tapped Kerwin Frost to do a pair of mules and his own meal that is currently available everywhere. McDonald’s have also announced a new restaurant chain they’ve been working on for some time now, CosMc’s.  Before wrapping up, the boys discuss their picks for the mules of the week and pose the question: "Does FEAR OF GOD have the potential to revive Adidas hype?"
