Sometimes life sucks! Knocks you on your butt. Here you will find a safe space for any and all topics. I find vulnerability sexy and truly believe burdens can turn into blessings if we so choose to see it that way. I’m going to normalize that there is purpose within pain by sharing my own experiences along with many others to help you find comfort in the fact that someone else has gotten through specific situations and you will too. Let’s navigate these hard seasons together and I pray you lay down heavy feelings and leave with a light heart ♥️ Our experiences are someone else’s survival guide.

    Is Alcohol my Idol?

    Addictions are real. Addictions are painful. Addictions hurt multiple people. Addictions are not bigger than our God. Please sit with my dear friend Dana and I as we speak on her experience with alcohol & how she gained control of her life again. There is purpose within pain and I can’t thank her enough for being vulnerable with her story. You are not your addiction and you are not weak for struggling with it.     A Man That Prays . . .

    What makes a true man? Biblically speaking... “Husbands love your wives as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her. Husbands should love their wives as their own bodies, He who loves his wife loves himself for no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it just as Christ does the church. Ephesians 5:25 “Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.” Genesis 2:24 “Older men are to be sober minded, dignified, self-controlled, sound in faith, in love in steadfastness.” Titus 2:1-15 “Do not let the sun go down on your anger, and give no opportunity to the devil.” Ephesians 4:26-27 “But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.” 1 Samuel 16:7 A man that prays with you, for you and over you is a true man, a leader in faith of the household. Walk through some personal examples in Cody and I’s marriage. The best part about God is he has no limits on any lost heart or any past trauma. I am beyond ready to see my husband as a father. With God’s blessing, we can wipe out decades of generational sin. Do not settle for the comfortable. Do not stay in the turmoil. Chase God and allow him to mold you into the person who can handle the partner and relationship you most desire.

    New Levels New Devils

    I want...I feel...I think...if I could just be here...if i could just have....if that person would just not...We are going to dive deep into how to be happy for others. How to pray for preparation over a dollar sign. How to be satisfied in purpose over chasing the next best newest thing. Do not wish away your unique life for that is a gift given to you and only you. Believe that you’ll receive the most fruitful path even if that path is uncomfortable and less shiny. The goal is peace. The gift is grace.

    STOP THINKING TO DEATH & refuse to stay unsettled. Come refresh your soul here. We are meant to be Joyful, Peaceful & Victorious. Tackle your problems with God first and allow him to free you from past and present chains. Trust the Lord more than yourself. HOPE is the anchor of our soul. We cannot just be rescued over and over again, we must be TAUGHT. God is our teacher but we have to be willing to listen. Serving God does not mean all your problems are solved. WAYS TO SIMPLIFY YOUR LIFE: 1) Declutter 2) When you need something ask God to provide then forget about it & believe if it is the most fruitful path he’ll provide in the right time 3) Be yourself & stop trying to impress people 4) Don’t be easily offended and be quick to forgive 5) When you sin, admit it 6) Give people mercy instead of revenge 7) When you need help, ASK 8) Make decisions, indecisiveness leads to stress 9) Don’t be over committed & know your limits 10) YOU need to he willing to make a change.
