Ever observed the unadulterated faith and boundless energy of children and wished you could have a slice of that pie? Well, it turns out, Jesus urges us to do just that! In this enriching episode, we journey together through the spiritual landscape of childlikeness in the kingdom of heaven. We’ll discuss Jesus’ command to become like children and parse its profound implications beyond mere humility. Drawing from my own personal experiences, including an intriguing experiment with my children, we’ll introspect on the pure, unconscious faith of children and their ability to question without cynicism.

As adults, we’re often burdened by past experiences, which can hinder our path to spirituality. But, imagine if we could approach faith with a child’s innocence and curiosity? We delve deep into this concept, highlighting how childlike qualities like implicit trust and living in the present moment can be our guiding lights towards the kingdom of heaven. Reflecting on our responsibilities towards those we serve, we challenge actions that might not be beneficial to our children.

In the final part of our journey, we explore the potent symbolism of Jesus as a lamb before becoming a lion. Purity, innocence, gentleness, and even weakness, encapsulated by the lamb, signal our entry into the kingdom of heaven. We wrap up this enlightening episode with a prayer of worship and adoration, extending an invitation to each one of you to embrace these childlike qualities and experience Jesus in everyday moments of our lives.
