    EP 14 - Never Too Late To #EndSARS

    While agitations around Police brutality tagged #EndSARS seems to have watered down, The Northorious Podcast decided to reopen the conversation to remind Nigerians why it remains pertinent to keep pushing for a better Nigeria. Peekay and Blaq shared their protest experiences in Jos, the Plateau state capital, and how it has shaped their perception of demonstrations nationwide. Sly and Ruffee, alongside other members of the panel, delved into how Northern governors used religion and ethnicity to frustrate protests in their region, and also the insensitivity of President Muhammadu Buhari. No wonder Chimamanda Adichie said, "There is the sense that Nigeria could very well burn to the ground while the president remains malevolently aloof. The president has often telegraphed a contemptuous self-righteousness, as though engaging fully with Nigerian is beneath him." Listen up.

We also discussed her relationship with Mr Eazi and Empawa, her new EP and what her fans should expect from her coming.

    EP.12: Kaduna is Twice as Low

    Here's the 12th episode of the Northorious Podcast which has Razaq, Peekay Milla, and Sly on the roundtable to discuss the ongoing UEFA Champions League, Bigbrother Nigeria, Burna Boy's recently released album, among other pertinent topics.  The pundits started their discussions with UCL, which had some shocking moments which saw Manchester City and Barcelona getting knocked out. They delved into the currently running reality TV show, Big Brother Nigeria, the ongoing drama in the house, which contestant is most likely going to win the show, among others. Burna Boy's recently released fifth studio album, Twice as Tall, was also the centre of their discussion. They had a general review of the project.  Furthermore, they took their time to discuss music and projects that have rocked the Nigerian music industry up until this point.  They finally beamed their torch on the recent spate of killings in Southern Kaduna, governments repeated inactions, the ripple effects, and more.

    Episode 11: The double woes of Rape and COVID-19

    On the 11th episode of the Northorious Podcast, Abdul, Razaq, Sly, Ruffee, alongside their guests, Yitkyim and Krissy talk in-depth on the double woes of rape and the novel coronavirus that has not only plagued Nigeria, but the world.  The roundtable discussion which focused more on rape made some revelations about the physical and psychological trauma faced by victims of rape.  With increased cases of rape reported and the brutality associated with it, the NP decided to use their platform to speak up against this evil, citing cases and also suggesting short-term and long-term solutions.
