He explains how water, much like wine, can enhance a dish, amplify its flavors, and tell the story of a territory through its mineral and sensory characteristics. Finally, Carlo Canins, head of snowmaking at Skicarosello, shares how technology and conscious management can transform a natural resource into a balanced system between tourism needs and environmental sustainability. A journey into the very essence of the mountain — where every drop counts, and where the future is built from something as invisible as it is vital.

The Dolomites, enveloped in a blanket of snow, are transformed into an enchanted place, to be experienced to the fullest.     The Legend of Gran Risa: the epic beat of the Ski World Cup

    Every year, in the period leading up to Christmas, Gran Risa becomes the stage for unforgettable emotions, hosting the men's Ski World Cup races. An iconic slope, carved among the peaks of Alta Badia, where legends such as Alberto Tomba, Marcel Hirscher, Ingemar Stenmark and Marc Girardelli have written epic pages in the history of skiing. The World Cup is more than a sporting event: it is the reflection of the valley's soul, a moment when over a thousand volunteers work together to make every detail perfect, showing the world the values of a community that lives on passion and tradition. To accompany us to the heart of the organization will be Andy Varallo, President of the Organizing Committee, Stefanie Nagler, Secretary General, and Anna Costamoling, part of the Product Management department of Alta Badia Brand and a ski instructor. Their story will guide us on an exciting journey, as intense as a descent between the mythical gates of Gran Risa.

    Skiing, a Journey into the winter magic of Alta Badia

    Imagine gliding down perfectly groomed slopes, nestled in the heart of the Dolomites, surrounded by majestic peaks that turn golden at dawn. This is the spirit of Alta Badia, a true paradise for ski enthusiasts and a unique starting point for the legendary Sellaronda and other breathtaking itineraries of the Dolomiti Superski. But the experience in Alta Badia goes beyond just the sport. Here, skiing meets the art of living well, celebrating an important anniversary this year: 15 years of "Sciare con Gusto" (Skiing with Taste). This project combines the passion for snow with the pleasure of good food, transforming a day on the slopes into an adventure for the senses. To guide us through this tale of emotions and flavors, we have Stefanie Irsara, Sales Manager of Alta Badia Brand, Alessandro Huber, Product Manager of Skicarosello Corvara, and Simone Cantafio, 1 Michelin Star Chef at La Stüa de Michil Restaurant in Corvara. Together, they reveal how Alta Badia is not just a destination, but a place where the magic of winter comes alive in every turn and in every dish.
