This review is much belated, but for good reason. I had always committed to myself that I would post my review of “Not All Bad” upon the release of fifty episodes but, as we know all in April 2021, Episode 50 is missing. Where has it gone? Who has listened to it? And most importantly: How good is it?
After waiting numerous months, it became clear that a universe that had stripped this episode from our reality could not be trusted to deliver Episode 50. I had to take matters into my own hands. I meticulously re-listened to the entire back catalogue for a clue—for anything—that could have led me to this episode.
I was subject to remarkable tribulations and witnessed the unspeakable throughout my journey through space and time, but I am pleased to confirm that the elusive Episode 50 does in fact exist within this dimension. Regretfully, I had to travel deep into the future to find a verifiable recording of Episode 50 but believe me: Episode 50 of “Not All Bad” is very much real. I’ve been to the year 3000. Not much has changed, but they lived underwater. And rest assured Zach and Paul, your great-great-great-granddaughter is doing fine (the converging family tree is a funny story for another time). While I regretfully was unable to bring the episode back to this time, my examination of the complete start-to-finish catalogue of “Not All Bad” allows me to deliver a 5-stars review with confidence.
