Not Another One

I used to listen to “For The Many” because I want opinions from more than one part of the political spectrum. I now listen to NAO and Electoral Dysfunction, which I think are the only podcasts that fulfil that brief and aren’t just echo chambers for one point of view. Often a host may say something I don’t agree with but that’s what I want, to be challenged in my beliefs and to understand why other people when presented with the same facts come to a different conclusion to me.

As a follower of Steve Richard’s excellent podcast “Rock n Roll Politics’, I was interested to listen to his new venture with 3 other political observers. It is superb. Four intelligent people who listen to each other, recognize each other’s good ideas, argue like friends in a non-hysterical manner and have plenty of their own ideas. It’s a true circular diagnosis and smart analysis of British and World politics. I learn something, and get mildly excited (!).... every time a pod drops. Great stuff.
