Not Enough Spoons

I absolutely love Andrea”s & Alicien”s matter of fact approach to talking about mental illness, especially the podcast on BPD. Thanks for putting yourself out there and thanks for mentioning the book “Beyond Borderline” and the late Perry Hoffman’s quote on stigma. By the way, I wrote the essay in that book titled “Letting the Light In.” Recovery is definitely possible. Will be listening to future podcasts for sure.

What seems like it could be an informative and interesting podcast became unbearable for me to try to listen to. It seems to narrow out each speaker and designate them to one "side" of the audio so if I'm at work and I need to have only one headphone in, I am then only able to hear one person speaking, because the replying person is on the other headphone. It literally makes listening a chore, a headache, and an annoyance. If you can get that settled I would be open to listening for more than a minute and 30 seconds.

I tuned in based on reviews thinking I would find support as a family member of several folks with BPD. After 30 seconds of being lectured on why I needed to give them a break because this was recorded before all of the SJWs took to the street, I turned it off. I get enough virtue signaling in the rest of my life. I don’t need it here also. It’s entirely possible you have a great podcast. Perhaps you should focus on that content instead of virtue signaling.
