Not Just CAD #0021 - Robert Green

Robert is an independent consultant whose focus is the optimization of all things software and CAD. Part mechanical engineer, part trainer, part writer, part programmer, part businessman, part public speaker - it all combines to a 100% results-oriented customer centric work ethic to create ideal CAD ecosystems. Not Just CAD #0019 - Amar Hanspal

Amar Hanspal is the CEO of Motif, a collaboration platform designed for the AEC industry. As the website states, Motif is "the shared workspace for building the world’s most impactful structures." - https://www.motif.io Amar has spent 30+ years developing innovative software for the Building and Manufacturing industries, and he is best known for his tenure at Autodesk, where he was the co-CEO and Chief Product Officer. Amar played a key role in the company's transition from on-premise/license software to a cloud-based, subscription-focused business. The company's market cap tripled during the span of this cloud transformation. Following Autodesk, Amar was the CEO of Bright Machines, a startup building software-powered assembly lines, named by Forbes as one of America's most promising AI companies. Amar also serves on the Board of Directors of PTC (NASDAQ: PTC), a major software provider to the manufacturing industry. Not Just CAD #0018 - Elizabeth Bishop

Dr Elizabeth Bishop is an academic at the University of Nottingham, based in the Midlands, UK. She is an enthusiastic Maker and engineer with a passion for teaching CAD, design, making, and all things 3D printing, inspiring the next generation of engineers. Her formal role as the Programme Director for the Electro-Mechanical Engineer Degree Level Apprenticeship allows her to drive forward the change in offers of higher education in the UK, making degree-level courses an option for those who wouldn't ordinarily have had the chance to access them. With a PhD in Large-Scale Additive Manufacturing (3D printing really big stuff) her expertise has driven numerous other fun activities. Outside of her formal teaching role, Liz runs a weekly Maker Club, opening up equipment and learning to enhance the education of students across the university and beyond, often running collaboration events with other institutions. Her drive to teach and share knowledge is not just limited to the academic setting, either. On top of STEM and Outreach activities with schools and community groups, in her spare time, Liz generates educational content for her own YouTube channel - 3DBISH - and for the Autodesk Fusion channel. Steve is the Vice President of Design and Manufacturing at Autodesk, based in San Francisco, California. He is responsible for all aspects of product development for Autodesk's design, simulation, and manufacturing platform. Steve qualified as a Mechanical Engineer in the UK. Having worked for a manufacturer of industrial machinery, he joined Autodesk over 20 years ago and has since served in a variety of leadership roles across sales, strategy & marketing, and product development. Steve is a believer in life-long learning. He returned to undergrad study in his thirties to build on his knowledge of computing science and has recently completed his MBA at Cornell University. His diverse experience in design and product development drives his passion for the manufacturing business.
