    This weeks episode we discuss Crystal and Dinas experience participating in the Emerald Downs Dachshund races this past Sunday. I guess it should really be called small dog races as there was a heat that frustrated little doggies. Dina planned 3rd in her race that also included Mary Poopins the wheel chair bound dog. We also touch on assisted living again and Crystals idea that it’s not so bad and could be something to look forward to as we age. We also discussed her estrogen treatment and her regiment with Dr’s. We talked about renaissance fairs are they good have they had their time…what’s your thoughts? When did you get your first smart phone? What is one food you would eat everyday for the rest of your life snd why?

    This weeks show we discuss parental care when they age, Crystal is participating in the great dachshund race at emerald downs in Seattle on Sunday with Deena the elder rescue dog that she has. I don’t think Deena will race and she doesn’t either she thinks Deena will get in trouble and be thrown out. We shall see. We also discuss her friend who restores cast iron skillets in Seattle and how Crystal thought her business name should be Deadpan Doula and she used it! We talked about what our most favourite or least favourite job ever was for our question of the week. We also are still waiting for someone to comment on our YouTube channel comments section to claim their free T-shirt. We’ve put bed shirts up on the Meow Damnit merch site.     This week’s episode we talk about Jackie the beautiful bald eagle who took ill and was rescued about 4 weeks ago and how she lost her battle to survive. Her legacy and our feelings around this great loss. We discussed our favourite clothing as kids and in high school. We also discussed the biggest events we’ve ever attended and also a skill we thought we would be good at. We talked about donating to the organizations that helped Jackie in her fight for her life. The Ojai Raptor Center, CALM, Friends of Big Bear Valley.org these great organizations help wild animals and are doing invaluable work.

    This weeks podcast is pretty short. Not usually only 26 mins but he its a quick listen and you can hear us discuss music that we may not have normally listened to but we did listen to. Or I did listen to last week. We also discuss our similar feelings about metal music as well as our mad respect for Taylor Swift but also music that we don’t necessarily listen to.

    This week we are pretty random but we do have some strong opinions about AI and customer service fails like Ring Camera and also Best Buy.We also discuss what we think the will cause the end of civilization as well as do we think Robots will run the world in our lifetime….thus the AI discussion.     This weeks show is about many things. We discuss the internet sensation Jackie and Shadow and how Jackie took ill and the people of Big Bear came together to rescue Jackie who was unwell. The Fire company of Big Bear stood over Jackie and looked after her until 2 am until the Raptor center could get there to rescue Jackie. She is gravely ill but has a team of great veterinarians looking after her at the Ojai Raptor Center. Consider a donation to Ojai or to Savemooncamp.org. Both organizations are doing great things. Ojai rescuing raptors all over California and savemooncamp.org is trying to raise money to protect the eagle habitat of Shadow, Jackie, Luna and Sandy their two eaglets who will be heading off on their own journey soon. We are hoping that Jackie pulls through this set back of hers and that she is released before her tiny ( not so tiny anymore ) fledglings take off on their own journey. Do your part to ensure no bad chemicals are introduced to the environment via poisons etc that may be used to rid rats etc. You must think about the animals that eat what you may be trying to get rid of. We don’t want to lose these majestic eagles just when they’ve begun to make such a strong comeback.

    This week we discuss music and the Mongo Jerry song in the summer time and how really s****y it is even though its a catchy tune as well as other songs that are similar in nature. We also discuss some proud moments in our lives and also do you forgive easily or not and why. We also get to see Deena Crystals Doggie and Blue Belle Jens Chonk cat ….if you are watching the podcast.

    This week our discussion goes all over the place from Seattle Gay Pride to the eaglets of SHadow and Jackie and their reaction or non reaction to the Fireworks on the 4th and Sandy’s accidental fludge and her brother Luna’s feelings about that or so Jen perceived them to his successful fledge and their triumphant return to the nest to be nonplussed by the fireworks barrage that sounded like a war zone on the 4th. We also discussed our lesbian driving prowess in dodging things falling off the hack of trucks on the highway and we discussed the special olympics held in Minneapolis Minnesota.
