Prominent figure in the Palestinian women’s movement, Islah Jad is the Chairperson of the Board of Directors of BISAN Center for Research and Development and professor, she supports the struggle of the Palestinian people in advancing their socio- economic rights in the context of national liberation.
Marc Botenga is a member of the European Parliament and follow closely the relations of the European Union with Palestine. In the past he was a very active member of Viva Salud, and still a member of the board.

Palestinian health activist Shatha Odeh who was released recently after spending 11 months in Israeli prisons describes the struggle for basic rights while incarcerated. Health activist Shatha Odeh speaks to Hani Serag of People’s Health Movement about her days imprisoned in two Israeli prisons, the everyday struggle of prisoners for their basic rights and the atrocities inflicted upon them by Israeli authorities.
