I’m obsessed
I graduated high school in 2010, I was the first person I know on MySpace tbh... this podcast is everything to me right now, the nostalgia feels sooo good, and I’ve learned so much I didn’t know. The way he narrates is so smooth and it’s like being told seamless stories. I love it. Also take me back to 2008 my golden year of life where I had half bleach blond hair, side bangs, and pierced my nose and ears myself almost weekly lol. The scene was golden
NPR Goes Scene Vol. 1
This show is basically ‘This American Life’ from NPR but without all the things that make that show great. Plus, why would you treat a movement with counter-culture roots in such a culturally-adherent way? Just makes me think this dude should just take the script he clearly has for every single word he says and just post it on his website as an article.
Sure, his research is thoroughly done but back to what I said earlier, just post it as an article instead of sounding like Gary from RvB.
